Marcio Malogolowkin

Dr. Marcio Malogolowkin is the Division Head of Hematology Oncology for Clinical Affairs and Clinical Research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, one of the biggest pediatric hospitals in the nation. He is an Associate Professor, Clinical Scholar at the University of Southern California Keck Medical School, who has been published in many medical journals and has lectured around the world. His area of research interest is in liver and other rare pediatric tumors. He went to Medical School at the University Federal Do Rio De Janeiro, coming to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for his fellowship in 1986. A native of Rio de Janeiro, he now lives with his family in Pasadena, CA. During medical school in Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Malogolowkin and several classmates started clinics in the slums of Rio. This experience and his work in the United States has given Dr. Malogolowkin a strong drive to make sure everyone receives proper and comprehensive health care.
