Jim Vedder

James Vedder is a Professor Emeritus at Syracuse University. He received his B.S. in Business, Sociology and Psychology and M.B.A. from the University of Buffalo and his Ph.D. in Statistics and Economics from the University of Michigan.  He was the Academic Director of MBA Programs and of the Executive MBA Program at Syracuse University’s School of Management from1985-1996 and a professor from 1964-1998.  He has written four -monographs, several book chapters and numerous refereed articles for journals. James provided technical advice and training to USAID in the United States and 11 developing countries in Asia and Africa. He has served as a consultant to organizations including UTC/Carrier Corporation and the State of New York. He is the owner of two businesses in the field of photography and art.
