Jack Howard

Jack Howard received a B.A. and M.A. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College and is a graduate of the Class of 1946. He served in WW II as a naval officer in the Pacific Area and occupation of Japan. Jack retired in 2005 after 21 years with DuPont and 36 combined years as Vice President of American Recovery Co., Santanna Natural Gas Corp. and North American Fuel Co. He was involved in recycling chemicals and waste oil, marketing and project development of power plants using Natural Gas. His community activities include serving as a Director and Past President of the Skaneateles Country Club and Elder and President of Presbyterian Men of the First Presbyterian Church of Skaneateles. He is a recipient of a Distinguished Service Award from the New York State Free and Accepted Masons and American Red Cross for Blood Drive Coordination. Jack married Ruth Franck in 1947. They have four children, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
