Bill Allyn
Board Member

Bill Allyn is a graduate of Dartmouth College in Mechanical Engineering and receieved his MBA from Syracuse University and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the State University of New York. He is a retired President and CEO of Welch Allyn, founder and Chairman of Handheld Products and a founder of Everest VIT. Bill is a board member of the Naples Community Hospital, Naples Community Church and the Allyn Foundation. He is also a retired member of Community General and Auburn Memorial (chairman) Hospitals, Niagara Mohawk Power, M&T Bank, Oneida Ltd, Macny (chairman), New York State Business Council (chairman) and Skaneateles Recreational Trust. He is a retired Trustee of Syracuse University, the board of Overseers of the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and the Emerson Foundation. Bill married Penny Jones in 1960. They have four sons and 11 grandchildren.
